Position Summary:
 As a Sales Representative, your role would include establishing and maintaining strong long-term client relationships. You will work to expand the Farmina brand throughout your territory. The individual in this position will report to the VP of Farmina Pet Foods USA and is responsible for a number of specific tasks as outlined below under responsibilities.

Responsibilities: Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing our distributor in your territory
  • Riding along with distribution reps
  • Visiting retailers
  • Managing sales and sales initiatives for retailers
  • Obtaining new accounts
  • Providing merchandising support
  • Training employees
Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses the following:

Position Summary: As a Farmina Pet Health Coach, your role would include working closely with retail stores to introduce consumers to the Farmina brand by organizing in-store demos, visiting off-leash dog parks and participating in local events in your territory Thursday through Monday. You will be responsible for representing Farmina’s image and for the management of part time team of Brand Ambassadors . The individual in this position will report to the Marketing Manager of Farmina Pet Foods North America and is responsible for a number of specific tasks as outlined below.

Responsibilities: Your roles and responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
  • Generate sales in your territory for assigned independent retail stores by demonstrating products, sampling, conducting store events, and side by side selling with store personnel.
  • Send nutritional plans via our web app to pet parents you interact with
  • Visit off-leashed parks to raise brand awareness among pet parents by educating on Farmina products, handing out samples and coupons, filling our nutritional plans etc. and directing customers to stores where Farmina is being sold.
  • Build product displays and maintain store shelves by managing Farmina products (merchandising); removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; provide the optimum display of products according to the company planogram.
  • Ensure proper branding and representation of Farmina products throughout the store through the use of various POP marketing materials.
  • Observing product levels and prompting Store Management/Sales Representative to reorder when levels appear low.
  • Present and train retail stores staff on new and existing products
Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • 1+ years’ experience merchandising or 1+ years’ experience training pets

Farmina is building a state-of-the-art pet food extrusion plant in Reidsville, NC. We are Looking to hire a Dry Pet Food Production Manager during the construction process of this Farmina US based facility. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the development process as well as overseeing the equipment commissioning and managing the startup of this cutting-edge Pet Food Extrusion facility.  We are Looking for candidates that have a minimum 10 years of experience as Production managers in dry food extrusion facilities, multitasking, management and organization skills, mechanic, and electrical maintenance knowledge.

The Dry Pet Food Production Manager will be responsible for leading the dry food production team to meet goals for safety, quality, waste, and productivity. This position is also responsible for achieving short and long-term strategic goals to ensure growth of both the department and organization.

Position Summary:
  • Supervise start up through completion process of the Dry Food Extrusion Facility in partnership with senior management at Farmina US.
  • Develop a cohesive team that will manage the dry pet food production, maintenance teams while playing a key role in leading the operations through fruition to high quality pet food production.
  • Experience information systems, quality assurance, FDA Pet Food Compliance, supply chain, accounting, human resources, R&D engineering, engineering management, operations performance.
  • Focal point of our facility.
  • Achieve productivity plans. Lead each department to identify and minimize or eliminate all forms of waste, raw materials, downtime, labor. Communicate performance against goals.
  • Assuring safe, legal and wholesome pet food products meet our consumers expectations.
  • People development, business planning, results orientation, problem solving, collaboration, safety are all key capabilities an individual needs to possess to be successful in this role. 
  • Contribute to the achievement of Farmina's growth plan through the development of both short and long term goals.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • HS diploma is required, BA degree preferred. Preferably in food science, engineering, business, operations, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 10yrs experience in dry foods extrusion or preferably animal/pet food in a production leadership position.
  • Knowledge in mechanical, electrical and maintenance management.
  • Food FSQA experience, SQF, lead auditor, and preventative controls for Animal Food Manufacturing certification is preferred.
  • Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily bookkeeping activity through Microsoft Nav, preparation of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheets, schedules and ledgers on Microsoft Navision, monthly and annual closings and reporting to company’s headquarter and to official government institutions.
  • Payroll processing and administration, account analysis and bank reconciliations, sales tax and income tax reporting in US.
  • Accuracy of financials, compliance with local legislation, as well as group rules and procedures.
  • Processing and updating monthly financial reports for the Company, invoicing and billing, A/R and A/P, accounts and bank reconciliation.
  • Generating expense reports, assistance and coordination with Company accountants, tax and legal counsel.
  • Preparation and reviewing of all accounting documents and maintenance of financial data base.
  • Recruiting and training of accounting and finance associates. Provide finance and accounting assistance to the CEO including budgeting, investment tracking and inventory reconciliation.
