As a Farmina Pet Health Coach, you will use your passion for cats and dogs to inspire pet parents you meet in the field to make the best decisions regarding their pets' health and nutritional needs. As the face of Farmina, this role will build an in-person pet community through activities at independent retail stores, dog parks, and local events to drive a healthy lifestyle while growing sales in your territory. You will work closely with our dedicated follow-up team to ensure that pet parents stay on track with meeting their pet's personal nutritional goals.
This role works on a Thursday through Monday schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Be the face of Farmina in your territory to all the cats, dogs, and pet parents to build an in-person pet community.
- Sharing knowledge of pet health and nutrition with retailers and pet parents to drive the adoption of products and services.
- Drive awareness and participation in our FREE Pet Care Program through the innovative FarminaGenius mobile App that helps pet parents easily monitor the health of their pet.
- Create personalized feeding plans and product recommendations tailored to each pet.
- Ensure the proper branding, representation, and availability of Farmina nutritional products and services in your territory (marketing material, shelf displays, etc.)
- Assist with building key partnerships with select retailers via the Farmina Genius Center program to provide a higher level of service to their customers.

The ideal candidate will manage and structure the Farmina veterinary channel by creating, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with opinion leaders, vet clinics, and universities for both our Vet Life prescription range of diets and our Natural & Delicious maintenance diets. Position Summary:
- Manage and structure the market development and sales team for the Farmina North American Veterinary Channel across US and Canada.
- Hire and train a dedicated sales force across the country.
- Develop the Veterinary services program with Veterinary clinics across the country.
- Coordinate the distribution of the Farmina technical/scientific assets including but not limited to product book, white papers, scientific articles, presentations.
- Coordinate the development and hold seminars and training for key accounts, distributors, veterinarians, and the local Farmina teams.
- Participate in key industry exhibits and seminars
- Provide nutritional and technical product support to the North American based Farmina teams.
This position will report directly to our CEO, North America with corporate office in New York City for the US and Canadian market development. US based with the ability to work remotely and expected to travel 3 weeks out of the month.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of Regional and/or National management and sales for a leading veterinary pharma manufacturer (small animals) and or Veterinary prescription diets.

Job Responsibilities:
- Interacting with B2B customer base to accept orders and coordinator logistics on a daily basis, both domestically and internationally
- Distributor sales orders entry, process, confirmation, tracking and communications with the both clients and Farmina Sales Team.
- PO entries on Nav, related to both the purchase of the goods to be ordered by Farmina USA and the Sales of the goods for both container and warehouse sales orders and communication with the US warehouse and/or Manufacturing facilities.
- Control bills related to purchase orders and coordinate proper recording with the accounting department.
- Vet clinics direct orders with Farmina, processing, client communication coordination with warehouse and logistic partners.
- Producing Reports for all orders processed and maintaining communication with both manufacturer and clients and assisting in the quality check process, and coordinating with Farmina Accounting.
- Check and submit Distributors credit memos/bill backs and check for final approval.
- Coordinate with Logistic partners, manufacturer shipping office, Distributor receiving department and brokers for timely tracking and delivery of the container and LTL orders.
- Coordination with the Accounting department for Credit Memos, Bills, Invoices related to the Sales orders and Purchase orders.
- Tonnage report collection and submission to filing.
- Administrative functions related to the B2B client services and assist Farmina Admin department with administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining customer files
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales and shipment tracking reports
- Daily use of Excel and Microsoft Dynamics Nav
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Proficient in understanding accounting software and customer resource management tools (CRM)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to set, prioritize and manage all projects and job duties to reach department goals and objectives
- Knowledge and ability to use Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently or on a team
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
