Discover Vet Life
The Farmina Vet Life veterinary nutrition programme stems from the work of Farmina Vet Research (FVR), an international team of veterinarians, nutritionists, biochemists and biotechnologists dedicated to developing clinical diets based on scientific evidence. For over a decade we have been working with some of the most prestigious universities in the world — Cornell University, University of Naples Federico II, University of Belgrade, University of Messina and University of Ljubljana — to run clinical trials on dogs and cats affected by real pathologies. A unique feature of our studies: the animals take part while living normally with their own families for the whole duration of the trial, with no change to their lifestyle other than their diet, in full respect of their wellbeing. Our International Scientific Board includes leading experts such as Dr. Kenneth W. Simpson (Professor of Small Animal Medicine, Cornell University) and Dr. Monica I. Cutrignelli (Professor of Animal Nutrition, University Federico II), who validate the research protocols and the scientific standards behind every Vet Life formula. The results of these studies are published in international scientific journals and span fields ranging from the nutritional management of struvite urolithiasis to chronic kidney failure, adverse food reactions and nutritional support in cases of obesity and diabetes — the very same clinical categories you will find below, each one developed from real evidence, not from assumptions.
