Farmina Pet Foods cooperates since long time with the Chair of Animal Nutrition of University of Naples Federico II. Clinical findings are, thus, set up and led bu public entities which grant for their scientific validity and testify real effectiveness of products. These cooperation made possible the development of several lines of research, certified by publications on international journals with high bibliometric indexes. Farmina Vet Life and N&D products are scientifically developed and certified as effective by third parties.

A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS TO SERVE THE WELFARE OF PETS.
Cooperation between Farmina and the University gave life to Farmina Vet Research, a team of first class professionals in nutrition, Veterinary Medicine and food formulation that, cooperating with the Chair of Animal Nutrition of University of Naples Federico II conducted several researches to obtain nutritional systems suitable for the physiology of dogs and cats.

WE BELIEVE THAT HEALTHY FOOD CAN ALSO BE GOOD.
Good food comes from good ingredients, this is a Farmina belief and our history testifies that. We select only the best raw materials and we treat them with the care and attention just like a family by using technology which allow us to maintain the best nutritional values. The result of such attention is a genuine product which therefore also very palatable.
Palatability is a key factor, and only with a meticulous attention to detail have we been able to create a food that is extremely palatable for a cat or a dog, with an exciting aroma which spreads from the just-opened bag inviting for a bite, and also with the right texture and size of the kibbles. It’s a complex process which we understand, thanks to the meticulous care we put into developing our food and thanks to the experience we have gained that leads to the careful analysis of composition and in the administration of our food to hundreds of four-legged friends.

RESPECT AS THE BASIS FOR OUR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
One of peculiar characteristics of clinical trials set up by FVR is the cooperation with dozens of independent Veterinarians operating all over Italy who offer a nutritional solution to cats and dogs already affected by diseases. Pets have the chance to improve their condition by living still in their families for the whole trial period, whitout any change in their lifestyle except for diet, fully respecting animal’s welfare.
