FARMINA VET RESEARCH
A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS TO SERVE THE WELFARE OF PETS.
Cooperation between Farmina and the University gave life to Farmina Vet Research, a team of first class professionals in nutrition, Veterinary Medicine and food formulation that, cooperating with the Chair of Animal Nutrition of University of Naples Federico II conducted several researches to obtain nutritional systems suitable for the physiology of dogs and cats.

Farmina Pet Foods has since long ago a strong collaboration with the chair of Nutrition and Animal Nutrition of the University of Naples Federico II. The tests are developed and conducted by public scientific institutions, to ensure their scientific value and testify to the true effectiveness of the products. This collaboration has allowed Farmina over the years to develop different lines of research, certified by publications of scientific studies in international journals with very high relevance. Our products: Farmina Vet Life "natural diets" and Natural & Delicious have been scientifically tested. The collaboration between Farmina and the University also created Farmina Vet Research, which, in addition to research on the basis of the latest scientific discoveries to create new diets, has developed specific experimental protocols to verify the effectiveness of each diet and improving the organoleptic characteristics of those dietary nutrition products.

FVR, in addition, provides, via the use of protocols for long-term research, evaluation of the effects of prolonged administration of the diets. Among the many activities of the FVR is also the science through a magazine: the Discuss. Designed as a magazine update for Veterinarians, each issue addresses through a detailed literature review, problems frequently encountered in professional practice of veterinary surgeon which the nutritional treatment of diseases that recognize one of the determining factors in the diet success prophylactic and / or therapeutic. In the second part of each issue, describes the methods and results of research conducted by the group FVR according to each specific problem. The Discuss, available in multiple languages, is distributed free to veterinarians.

WE BELIEVE THAT HEALTHY FOOD CAN ALSO BE GOOD.
Good food comes from good ingredients, this is a Farmina belief and our history testifies that. We select only the best raw materials and we treat them with the care and attention of a family by using technologies which allow us to maintain at best nutritional values. The result of such an attention is a genuine product which therefore is also very palatable.

Palatability is a key factor, only with a meticulous work we have the chance to create a food extremely palatable for a cat or a dog, by an exciting aroma which spreads from the just-opened bag inviting for a bite, and also by the right texture and size of the kibbles. It’s a complex process we can realize at best, thanks to the meticulous care we put in developing our food and thanks to the experience we gained and that leads to the careful analysis of composition and in the administration of our food to hundreds of four-legged friends.
