SALES REPRESENTATIVE/ACCOUNT MANAGER - NEW YORK, NY

Duration: Full-Time
Position Summary: As a Sales Representative your role would include establishing and maintaining strong long-term client relationships. You will work to expand the Farmina brand throughout your territory. The individual in this position will report to the VP of Farmina Pet Foods USA and is responsible for a number of specific tasks as outlined below under responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Your roles and responsibility will include but are not limited to managing our distributor in your territory, ride along with distributor reps, visit retailers, and manage sales and sales initiatives for retailers, obtaining new accounts, merchandising support, and employee training.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Impeccable social-skills

  • 2+ years experience in outside sales (preferred in the pet food industry)

BRAND AMBASSADOR - NEW YORK, NY & LOS ANGELES, CA

Job Type:
 Part-time  
Position Summary: As a Brand Ambassador, your role would include working closely with stores to introduce consumers to the Farmina brand and organizing demos in-store and local events in your territory. You will be responsible for representing Farmina’s image in your territory. The individual in this position will report to the Marketing Manager of Farmina Pet Foods USA and is responsible for a number of specific tasks as outlined below under responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Your roles and responsibility will include, but are not limited to demonstrations, merchandising support in store and coordinate activities with sales reps.
  • Generate sales in your territory for assigned retail stores by demonstrating products, conducting store events, corporate events, and side by side selling with store personnel.
  • Build Displays and maintain store shelves by managing displays of company products; removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing the optimum display of products.
  • Maintain inventory by observing inventory levels and prompting store management/Sales Representative to reorder when levels appear low.
  • Maintain quality results by following and enforcing branding standards.
  • Build relationships through consistent communication, business reviews, and forward planning strategies to drive sales with retail leaders and store management teams.
  • Work with the Farmina marketing team to ensure proper brand messaging. Present and train retail stores on new and existing products and marketing promotions through training workshops.
  • Analyze and understand client traffic flow to schedule in-store coverage to be the most impactful to the store and sales.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage/schedule product promoters to assist with out-of-store promotional activities.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • 1+ years’ experience merchandising
  • 1+ years’ experience employee training and management
